It was hard to get the shiny leaves, to show the smoothness, and lack of veining. The new spring leaves have a lot of red in them, turning green as they age. The opposite of changing fall colors. The whole group of leaves grew off of one main stem. Blending colored pencils to create the varying colors was a challenge.
