We went up to Glide Oregon and had breakfast on the deck of the Idllyde Restaurant, the assortment of condiments, was different with a scalloped bowl of jam and butter, and a teal sugar bowl.

Interior of my Refrigerator
Every Day Matters #49 - Draw the inside of your refrigerator, or the outside. 5" x 8" journal page, pencil sketch, colored markers, Pigma pen. Oct. 13, 2012.
"When I opened the door, the shelves of the door caught my eye, with all the colorful jars and tubs. Grape jelly, homemade raspberry jam, cheese and pickles, margarine and IMO sour cream substitute. The colored markers brought out the color and graphic labels."

Condiments
Every Day Matters #319 - Draw the condiments on the table at a diner or restaurant.
Drawing pad, 5" x 7" pencil sketch, watercolor, Pigma pen. Oct. 6, 2012.
Waiting for breakfast, I sketched the metal wire rack holding the salt, pepper, sugar, Tabasco, and sweetener packets. The creamer was in a separate dish, and the jams had their own rack. At home I added the watercolor and Pigma pen.

Balsamic Vinegar
Every Day Matters Challenge #7 - Draw a bottle, jar or tin from your kitchen.
6" x 8" drawing paper, pencil sketch, watercolor paint,Pigma pen, metallic gold marker, white gel pen.
The two prettiest bottles in my cupboard are the balsamic vinegar, both imported from Italy. The labels are elegant gold printing, not cartoon colors like so many other American labels. It will be a challenge to paint the dark brown richness of the vinegar. I just got a new metallic gold pen, a much lighter yellower gold color. It is Saturday morning and I am waiting for my neighbor to walk to the Saturday Farmer's Market."

Sugar, Creamer and Lamp
5" x 7" drawing paper, pencil sketch with Pigma pen. July 19, 2012
Sitting in the Tee Pee Tavern, bored, going to do some sketching, I start with the table lamp, it has nice curves, and details. I add the sugar, creamer and stacked coffee cups for balance, even though they were on opposite ends of the bar from the lamp. Just a quickie.
